David A. Zapico
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Zapico was elected Chairman of the Board in June 2017 and has been Chief Executive Officer since May 2016. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from January 2013 to May 2016. He was President, Electronic Instruments, from October 2003 to January 2013. He joined AMETEK as a Product Engineer in 1990 and has held a variety of engineering and general management positions. He was promoted to Division Vice President of Process Instruments in 1996 and Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK Aerospace and Power Instruments Division in 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
Dalip M. Puri
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Puri has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 2024. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Operational Finance from September 2023 to April 2024; Vice President, Operational Finance from July 2023 to September 2023; Vice President and Group Controller from October 2021 to July 2023; and Vice President and Treasurer from 2017 to 2021. Prior to joining AMETEK, Dalip was Vice President, Treasurer and Investor Relations at Chemtura Corporation. Earlier in his career Mr. Puri held roles of increasing responsibility at Delphi Corporation and Hewitt Associates. Mr. Puri holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance degree from Concordia University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario.
Tony Ciampitti
President – Electronic Instruments Mr. Ciampitti has been President, Electronic Instruments since January 2017. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and General Manager, AMETEK Power Systems and Instruments, since 2008. He joined AMETEK in 1997 as a Technical Support Engineer and was promoted to Regional Sales Manager in 1998. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Ciampitti was part of the Power Instruments business, first as Director of Sales and Marketing and later as Business Manager. From 2005 to 2008, he served as Division Vice President and Business Unit Manager for AMETEK’s Upstream Oil & Gas business. Mr. Ciampitti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
John W. Hardin
President – Electronic Instruments Mr. Hardin has been President, Electronic Instruments since July 2008. Prior to that he served as Senior Vice President, AMETEK Aerospace and Defense from 2004 and Vice President and General Manager from 2003. He joined AMETEK in 1998 as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Dixson Division. He was named Business Unit Manager for its Heavy Vehicle business in 2000 and Vice President and General Manager in 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Webster University.
Dave Hermance
President – Electromechanical Group Mr. Hermance has been President, Electromechanical Group since January 2022. He previously served as Vice President, General Manager, AMETEK Measurement, Communications and Testing (MC&T) Division since 2016. He joined AMETEK in 1991 as a Marketing Analyst and Planner within AMETEK’s U.S. Gauge business and has continued to take on successively larger leadership roles at the company including Business Unit Manager for AMETEK’s Industrial Products and Sensor Technologies businesses. Mr. Hermance holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master of Business Administration from Oregon State University.
Thomas C. Marecic
President – Electronic Instruments Mr. Marecic has been President, Electronic Instruments since November 2014. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Electronic Instruments since 2013. He joined AMETEK in 1994 as a product engineer in Process & Analytical Instruments. He was promoted into successively larger roles in management, including Vice President and General Manager, Process & Analytical Instruments, starting in 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Penn State University, a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Duquesne University and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business.
Ronald J. Oscher
Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Oscher has been Chief Administrative Officer since May 2016. He previously served as President, Electronic Instruments since November 2014. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Electronic Instruments, since 2013. He joined AMETEK in 2010 as Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK’s Materials Analysis Division. Prior to AMETEK, he held positions with Emerson Electric Corporation, Westinghouse and McDonnell Douglas. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fluid and Thermal Science Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker College.
Emanuela Speranza
Chief Commercial Officer Ms. Speranza has been Chief Commercial Officer since January 2022. She most recently served as Vice President, International since 2020. She joined AMETEK in 2014 as Vice President and General Manager, AMETEK Precision Instruments, Europe. Prior to joining AMETEK, she held roles of increasing responsibility at Danaher, serving as Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and India and Vice President, EMEA Sales and Marketing for a number of Danaher businesses. Ms. Speranza earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, and a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications from Technische Universität Delft, The Netherlands.
